“I don’t have the time.”
“I can’t afford it. It’s too expensive.”
“I’ll start tomorrow.”
Yikes! That list can go on forever…
If we keep making those excuses and keep pushing it off, then, it’s almost like you already gave up. Step out of your comfort zone to face those fears, doubts, and self-limiting beliefs from what might be holding you back.
Sure, life does happen.
But, this is something you can control to live a healthier lifestyle and feel INCREDIBLE the moment you get out of bed! If you truly want to change, then stop putting it off and start taking action.
Listen, a transformation is not easy. It wouldn’t be called a “work out” if it was, right?
But, if you are truly committed and focused on your goals, such as losing weight, eating healthier, exercising every day, and to be able to do things you never thought you could still do, then you need to take that first step and stop being afraid!
A transformation to live longer is a marathon, not a sprint.
It takes hard work, time, patience, dedication, and 100% effort.
Of course, there will be times when you feel you might be steering off course and times that you want to eat something “bad”.
That is 110% absolutely okay, especially if you are NOT cheating yourself and staying consistent.
If you are putting in the work nearly every single day, why not have a “cheat” day! The overall outcome and results will still be the same… you feeling incredible!
Don’t you want to turn heads, put the past behind you, and feel confident in yourself, 365 days a year?
So, what is holding you back? Why ALL the excuses?
If this is what you desire, then go for it!
Excuse #1: “I don’t have the time”
Three Words: Hard to Believe!
I am not going to beat around the bush. Who actually does time? We all wish there were more hours in the day. But, unfortunately we cannot change that. You have to make the time and prioritize what is truly important to you. And if changing your lifestyle to becoming healthy, active, and energized to live longer IS important, then you will figure out how.
There are some things we can’t control. But, improving your health and mindset to live longer is something we can control!
Additionally, if you can find the time to watch TV, socialize, or even do household chores, then you can
definitely find the time to squeeze in a workout.
If you want to make fitness a part of your everyday schedule, you will find the time!

Excuse #2: “I can’t afford it. It’s too expensive”
Money….(always seems to be an issue).
“If I had a money tree…I can do anything”. True.
Reality check. They don’t exist.
“If I had all the money in the world, then I could…” (eh, still an excuse because there are ways around this)
Remember, anything is possible. It is how MUCH you want it, to go after it.
It you want to change to live a healthier lifestyle, you will find a way to figure this out.
I agree, exercising can be on the expensive side. However, there are so many ways and endless of possibilities you can exercise and be healthy on a fixed income or tight budget.
Below are just a few:
- Workout at home
- Avoid-weight loss food programs – you don’t need these to eat healthy
- Eat out less
- Negotiate a gym membership – this is always possible
- Take walks or go on a hike
- Find a partner
- Don’t spend money on supplements – reminder, once you go off these you can gain weight
- Get 7-8 hours of sleep
- Shop at discount retailers for apparel
In addition, when you add exercise into your daily lifestyle, this can eliminate so many costs, such as unnecessary doctor visits, medical bills, prescriptions.
According to the, National health expenditures will hit $3.35 trillion this year, which works out to $10,345 for every man, woman and child. Also, prescription drugs bought through pharmacies account for about 10 percent.
This can literally change your life forever.
Excuse #3: “I’ll start tomorrow”
Go ahead, keep putting it off until tomorrow.
Then, guess what happens: Tomorrow comes and goes.
And you didn’t take action.
If you keep putting it off until tomorrow, tomorrow becomes next week, which becomes next month…you see the trend here, right???
Did you know that according to The American Institute of Stress, up to 90% of all medical visits are stress related.
Why add more stress into your lifestyle. This is simply known as chronic stress. The kind of stress that you feel when you don’t have the motivation, enough time, energy or financial resources to get it all done (excuse #2).
But, why wait?
If you want to change, you will make it happen. It is in your own head, if this is truly something you want. If you want to live a healthy life, then you need to start making healthy choices.
This is something only YOU can decide.
Change your mindset.
“”You have brains in your head, You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. “You’re on your own and you know what you know and YOU are the guy who will decide where to go” – Dr. Seuss
Stop saying and start doing!
Make yourself a priority and commit!
Stay true to yourself of whom you want to be and the life you desire!
“Do you want that summer body 365 days a year?”
“Do you want to lose weight and tone up”
“What about lots more energy, feeling confident, and incredible about yourself?”
“Do you want to to try new adventures and set new goals?”
“Don’t you want to feel 100% better every day love yourself?”
If you answered YES to any of these….Then STOP putting it off until tomorrow!
